Get to know me

Mark Grevers

A team-player, exciting-organiser, crafty-creator, camera-enthousiast, encouraging-leader, precise-planner, & coffee-consumer.

Start of my career

I started getting into digital media because of my passion for visual storytelling. I bought my first camera at the age of 14, and soon after this purchase I started my freelance business doing photo and videography for events and businesses.

My time in the United States

After Highschool I decided I want to brush up on my English and get more media experience. A dutch friend referred me to an internship at Shake the Nations Ministries in Orlando. I started here as intern and through a scholarship from this ministry I became part of the media team for 5 years, learning the ins and outs of digital media in non-profits, the technical and management side of a TV-studio, and the organisation and production of multiple international Gospel Events.

Graduated at University of Central Florida

Besides working full time at Shake the Nations, I was able to obtain a bachelors degree in Television-Media managment with a Minor in Marketing at the University of Central Florida. This degree helped me understand the business side of digital media and how to activate your audience through this media.

And now?

In the beginning of 2023 I returned back to the Netherlands to get married and settle in the land of the cheese. I am still focussing on non-profit organisations, but do this based out of the Netherlands as a independent freelancer.
